Hemkunt Sahib tour from Delhi
Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh
Depart from Delhi in the morning and drive to Rishikesh. Check in to your hotel upon arrival and relax. Visit the famous Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges. Attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Joshimath, a town in the Chamoli district. En route, visit Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag, which are confluences of sacred rivers. Arrive in Joshimath in the evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
Day 3: Joshimath to Govindghat to Ghangaria
Check out from Joshimath and drive to Govindghat, the base camp for the Hemkund Sahib trek. Begin the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, which is about 13 km. You can choose to trek or hire a mule or porter. Arrive in Ghangaria in the evening and check in to your accommodation. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and Back
Early in the morning, start the trek to Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh shrine. The trek is relatively steep but offers breathtaking views. Visit the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara and take a dip in the holy Sarovar (lake). After paying your respects, trek back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat to Rudraprayag
Begin the descent from Ghangaria to Govindghat in the morning. From Govindghat, drive to Rudraprayag. Check in to your hotel in Rudraprayag upon arrival. Rest and relax after the trek. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 6: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
Check out from Rudraprayag and drive back to Rishikesh. Visit any missed attractions in Rishikesh or simply relax. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 7: Rishikesh to Delhi
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Rishikesh. Drive back to Delhi to drop Airport/railway station for your onward journey.
