Morning:
Depart from your hotel in Amritsar early in the morning, around 9:00 AM. Travel to the Wagah Border, located approximately 28 kilometers from Amritsar. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside of Punjab.
Midday:
Arrive at the Wagah Border well before the ceremony begins. It's recommended to reach there by around 2:00 PM to secure a good spot. Upon arrival, pass through security checks and find your seating area.
Afternoon:
Witness the iconic Wagah Border Ceremony, which typically starts at 4:15 PM (winter) or 5:15 PM (summer). Experience the electrifying atmosphere as soldiers from both India and Pakistan perform the ceremonial parade, including high kicks and elaborate drills, accompanied by patriotic songs and chants. Capture memorable photos and videos of the ceremony.
Evening:
After the ceremony concludes (around 5:30 - 6:00 PM), explore the area around the border, visit the Wagah-Attari Memorial, and interact with locals. Enjoy some snacks or refreshments available at nearby stalls. Depart from the Wagah Border and head back to Amritsar.
