Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali
Pickup from Chandigarh Railway Station or Airport and proceed to Manali by cab. The distance from Chandigarh to Manali is approximately 310 km. On the way, stop for lunch at a good restaurant as per guest preference. En route, you can visit attractions such as Gobind Sagar Lake, Sundar Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Kullu Shawl Factory, and the historic town of Manali. Arrive in Manali by evening and check in to your Hotel, Cottage, or Tent (as per guest requirement). Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali to Jispa/Sarchu
After breakfast, depart for Jispa/Sarchu. Drive through the famous Atal Tunnel, Sissu Valley, and Keylong. Enter the beautiful Lahaul Valley and enjoy breathtaking mountain views throughout the journey. Jispa is a picturesque village located on the banks of the Bhaga River at an altitude of 3,200 meters and is one of the most popular stopovers for Leh travelers. Overnight stay at Jispa/Sarchu.
Day 3: Jispa to Leh
After an early breakfast, depart for Leh via Sarchu. Cross the famous Baralacha La, Nakee La, and Lachulung La Passes. Stop for lunch at Pang and continue through the spectacular More Plains and Tanglang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at an elevation of approximately 5,300 meters. Pass through Upshi and cross the historic Indus River before reaching Leh by evening. Check in to the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Leh Local Sightseeing
After a relaxed morning, proceed for local sightseeing in Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Indus-Zanskar Confluence), and Leh Market. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Leh – Khardung La Pass – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Nubra Valley (with Inner Line Permit). En route, visit Khardung La Pass (5,359 meters), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. Continue to Diskit Monastery and the famous Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel safari and ATV rides. Overnight stay at a hotel, homestay, or camp in Diskit/Hunder, Nubra Valley.
Day 8: Leh – Sarchu/Jispa
Early morning departure for Pangong Lake via Syok Village. On the way, pass through Durbuk and Tangtse while enjoying beautiful mountain landscapes. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of approximately 4,350 meters and is one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world. Around one-third of the lake lies in India, while the remaining two-thirds extends into China. The lake stretches for approximately 134 km and is famous for its changing colors and stunning beauty. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 7: Pangong Lake – Chang La Pass – Leh
Spend some time exploring the beauty of Pangong Lake before driving back to Leh via Chang La Pass. The journey takes approximately 5 hours. Arrive in Leh and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 08 : Kaza – Chandratal Lake (100 Kms)
After breakfast, depart for Sarchu/Jispa. The journey covers approximately 325 km through the scenic landscapes of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Overnight stay at a camp or hotel in Jispa/Sarchu.
Day 9: Jispa to Manali
After breakfast, check out from the camp and drive towards Manali. The distance from Jispa to Manali is approximately 150 km. As per your preference, you may stay in Manali or continue your onward journey to Chandigarh, Delhi, or your preferred destination by car. End of the Tour.
