Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01 : Amritsar

Arrival in Amritsar and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.

Activities (Same Day):

Visit Wagah Border for the Indo-Pak evening parade ceremony.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Amritsar and return to the hotel by evening for an overnight stay.

Activities (Same Day):

Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Hall Bazaar for shopping.

Eating Places:

Popular Bakery for chicken patty, Ahuja for lassi, Barawan Da Dhaba for meals.

After breakfast, proceed to Chamba. En route visit Chamera Lake and Bhalei Temple. By evening, reach Chamba and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Chamba Sightseeing:

Visit the famous Laxmi Narayan Temple (ancient and historical) and Chamunda Temple (known for its ancient wooden carvings). Both are important religious sites of Chamba.

After breakfast, depart for Bharmour. Visit the Chaurasi Temple Complex and the only temple in the world dedicated to “Dharamraj Yama.”
The belief is that after death, the soul passes through this temple for judgment of life’s deeds. It is recommended to visit this temple during one’s lifetime. Also enjoy the beauty of Bharmour, visit apple orchards, and take a trekking visit to Bharmani Temple. Later return to Chamba for an overnight stay.

Start early in the morning after breakfast towards Sach Pass with packed lunch. Explore Sach Pass, often referred to as the Rohtang of Chamba, covered with snow for most of the year.
It is a 4–5 hour drive and serves as the gateway to the tribal Pangi Valley, surrounded by mountains and sharing borders with China. The journey includes new roads, high mountains, thrilling cliff edges, sharp turns, and high-altitude passes. The region features 6000-meter peaks, pine forests, and rugged terrain. Return to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, visit the Chamba Museum and then check out from the hotel. Proceed towards Khajjiar. (Khajjiar is known as the “Mini Switzerland of India,” recognized for its scenic beauty.)

Activities in Khajjiar:

Horse riding, zorbing, and nature walks among dense forests. Visit the Khajji Nag Temple.
After sightseeing, proceed to Dalhousie. En route, visit Kalatop Sanctuary area (nature walk up to Kalatop Rest House and back). Reach Dalhousie and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Dalhousie and return to the hotel by evening for an overnight stay.

Local Sightseeing:

Jandhri Ghat Palace, Subhash Baoli, Bara Pathar, Panjpulla, Subhash Chowk, GPO Dalhousie, Satdhara, and old churches of Dalhousie.

Activities in Dalhousie:

Enjoy Gulab Jamun at Café Dalhousie, walk from GPO to Subhash Chowk via Thandi Sadak, and visit D.C. Khanna Grocery Shop.

After breakfast, depart for Dharamshala. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Same Day Exploration:

McLeodganj, Bhagsunag, Tibetan markets, Naddi, Bhagsunag Temple and Waterfall, Tibetan Monastery, and Dal Lake.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Dharamshala and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Activities (Same Day):

Visit Cricket Stadium, Norbulingka Institute, War Memorial, Tea Garden, Chamunda Devi Temple, and Gopalpur Nature Park.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards Pathankot / Chakki Bank Railway Station. Continue your onward journey back home, carrying beautiful memories of your trip.
