Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 : Amritsar to Chandigarh & Chandigarh Local Sightseeing
Reach Chandigarh by Volvo bus or car from Amritsar. A private car will pick you up from either the Chandigarh Volvo Bus Station or the Chandigarh Car Stand. Check in at the hotel in Chandigarh. You can take some rest after the long journey from Amritsar. Later, visit Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, and Rose Garden in Chandigarh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chandigarh.
Day 02 : Chandigarh to Shimla (106 Kms)
Early morning, check out from the hotel in Chandigarh. Visit Sector 17 Plaza and then proceed to Shimla. The journey takes approximately 3 hours. Reach Shimla in the late evening and check in at the hotel. Take some rest. In the evening, enjoy the view from your hotel balcony and visit Mall Road and the local market of Shimla. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Shimla – Chail – Kufri – Shimla (90 Kms)
Start early in the morning from the hotel in Shimla. Today is reserved for Chail and Kufri. You can enjoy the natural beauty and, in winter, play in the snow. Chail is surrounded by dense pine forests, tall deodar trees, and beautiful valleys, making it an ideal destination for families and honeymooners. You can also enjoy adventure activities here. Return to the Shimla hotel in the evening. Overnight stay.
Day 04 : Shimla – Narkanda – Saharan – Kalpa (260 Kms)
After an early breakfast at the Shimla hotel, check out and proceed for a long journey to Kalpa. You will reach Kalpa in the late evening via Narkanda and Saharan. You can take lunch, rest, and enjoy at Saharan. Kalpa is a small town in the Kinnaur district, nestled in the Sutlej River Valley, making it an ideal tourist destination for all age groups. Check in at the hotel in the evening and stay overnight.
Day 05 : Kalpa – Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa (150 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed to Chitkul via Sangla. This is a full-day journey. Chitkul is the last motorable village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Sangla is a small town located in the Baspa Valley of the Kinnaur district. Both Sangla and Chitkul are perfect destinations for nature lovers. Return to Kalpa in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Kalpa – Nako – Kaza (210 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed towards Kaza via Nako. Nako is one of the most beautiful and less-explored places in Himachal Pradesh. Monasteries and gompas preserve the rich culture and traditions of the region. Visit Nako Monastery, located in the middle of the village. This is a full-day journey. You can take rest at Nako. Reach Kaza in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Kaza – Dhankar – Kibber – Langza – Hikkim – Komik – Kaza (120 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed to Dhankar Lake. Return to Kaza for lunch. Later, continue your journey to Kibber, Langza, Hikkim, and Komik. Visit Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, located 20 km from Kaza. Dhankar Fort and Dhankar Monastery are must-visit places. Langza Village is located in the heart of Spiti Valley, around 16 km from Kaza. Return to Kaza in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Kaza – Chandratal Lake (100 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed for the Chandratal Lake excursion. Chandratal Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Himachal Pradesh and is also known as the “Lake of the Moon.” It is a top destination for adventure lovers. The Chandratal–Baralacha trek is full of excitement and adventure. Reach Chandratal in the evening and stay overnight in camps.
Day 09 : Chandratal Lake – Rohtang Pass – Manali (120 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed to Manali via Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Himachal Pradesh. It is a must-visit destination where you can enjoy snow activities and paragliding. On the way back, you can also visit Solang Valley. Later, proceed to Manali. Reach in the evening and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Manali – Kullu – Manikaran – Chandigarh (350 Kms)
Early morning, have breakfast and proceed to Manikaran Sahib. After visiting, continue your journey towards Chandigarh.
